- Faith Like A Child Part 2

Since we were talking last time about having Faith Like A Child, I figured now is the time to show my true kid's side and run with it....ha!

So...here's Anderson Cooper like you've never seen him before....on Sesame Street!

Hahahaha! And as if that wasn't enough, why not take a peek at my special guest appearance on Kids CBC a couple of years ago....

I wasn't a Famous Movie Star back then, so the paparazzi weren't after me like they are now:

A scary lot, they are. I'm learning to adjust to their constant presence, though. They're actually not that bad once you get to know them.

I'm very pooped. Met with my Medical Oncologist, Dr. Cohen, for the first time this week. We talked about what's going to happen and what I can expect once I start chemo. I asked him what he thought about the H1N1 vaccine, and he advised that I get it, since people on chemo have compromised immune systems and are very vulnerable to colds, flu, etc.

So I got my shot on Wednesday and experienced no serious side effects. Maybe the fatigue is from the shot? Or maybe it's from running around to so many doctors' appointments and cancer-related meetings - Coping Strategies workshop, Newly Diagnosed Breast Cancer support group, Oncologist appt., etc.

Maybe it's from stress? I wasn't aware that I've been stressed, but every once in awhile I kinda break down and start crying, so I guess it's buried down in there somewhere and can bring on fatigue.

Here's little Timmy trying to grab my glasses from me. He likes playing with forbidden fruit, so to speak.

Oh, and by the way, here's a CD promotional card from last year, when You Say was just released. If you're looking for a Christmas present for somebody, why not buy them a spiffy Wendy Farha CD. Don't forget, this CD has the song Menopause on it, so if you know any hot, sweaty, menopausal women, maybe this would be the perfect gift for them.

Hey, maybe you're even married to a hot, sweaty, menopausal woman....well, men, here's how to score some points: buy that lovely lady of yours a CD with a song that celebrates hormonal fluctuations, and she'll be ever grateful to you for bringing a splash of humor into her world.

(To buy a CD, visit my website:  http://www.wendy.ca/  Click on the "Buy Now" icon on the right sidebar, and we'll ship it out to you immediately. Or, you can click on the iTunes icon, also in the right sidebar of my website, and download the songs you like for only .99)

Okay, so keep smiling, and don't forget to smell the flowers along the way!

Wheeeeeee!!!!
